I seriously got like 8+ inches of my hair cut off on Sunday. And it was such a surreal experience seeing all my hair on the floor, no longer attached to my body. I just needed something different and lighter. And no more blond hair.

My sister’s prom night equals endless amounts of picture-taking by me. You can see in her expression here that she is wary of my camera. With good reason too. I have many unflattering pics that I left out of my Facebook pic upload. I knew better than to post them cause I know she would’ve killed me. I guess I could just save them for blackmailing later. I hope her actual prom was 100 times better than the sucky one our class had. I hope she’s having a fun-filled night that she will remember fondly for years to come (yes I know how corny this sounds, but it’s true).

I’ve been home since Wednesday and I haven’t been doing much except unpacking (which takes forever because of the amount of crap I accumulated in my dorm room over the year) and waiting for grades to be posted. The only person I’ve been hanging out with is my mom (who’s doing a lot better by the way). I offered to finish my sister’s prom dress, but she insists on doing it.

I’m going back to work tonight. Whenever I go back after a few months I’m always really nervous. I feel like I’m gonna screw everything up, especially since I’m pretty sure I’m opening. It’s an easy job and it’s really hard to mess up. Still. I’m nervous. 

I need to see my friends soon.
